Mabinogion Tarot
Help bring the Mabinogion Tarot to life
Rooted in Welsh stories and created with care, this deck is waiting to become something you can hold, explore and make part of your own practice.
We need 100 paid deck preorders to fund the first print run. By ordering your deck, you will play a part in bringing these cards to life.
£39.99 per set, plus £7.95 UK tracked postage and packing. Checkout currently supports delivery to the United Kingdom and United States only. UK tracked postage and packing is £7.95. For the United States, choose Royal Mail International Tracked at £14.20 or International Standard (untracked) at £11.35. Other destinations, including the Netherlands and New Zealand, are not yet enabled. Please email julian@lightandharmony.co.uk with your delivery country before ordering; an overseas order cannot be confirmed until its postage has been agreed.
The stories of Wales, in your hands
A white horse crosses a hillside. A woman made from flowers becomes an owl. A journey into the Otherworld changes a life forever. The Mabinogion brings together medieval Welsh tales of love, courage, belonging and transformation — stories that invite us to look more closely at our own lives.
This is a contemporary tarot interpretation inspired by Welsh storytelling, rather than a claim that tarot originated in the Mabinogion. The traditional 78-card structure meets intricate Celtic line artwork in forest green, warm ivory and antique-gold tones. Explore the imagery, notice what speaks to you and let the cards support your own understanding.
A numbered first collector’s edition
The first edition is limited to 200 sets, each accompanied by a personally signed certificate bearing its individual print number.
Your set
78 illustrated tarot cards.
An accompanying 88-page printed guidebook.
A matching presentation box.
A certificate personally signed by Julian Jenkins and hand-numbered with your set’s individual print number within the first edition of 200.
The proposed first edition is limited to 200 sets. One hundred paid deck preorders are the funding threshold, not the total edition size.
The Mabinogion 100 Club
The first 100 supporters who complete a paid preorder will be recognised as the 100 Club on the deck’s page in The Tarot Space. Public recognition is optional: enter your chosen display name in the 100 Club field only if you consent to that name appearing publicly. Leave it blank to stay private. Your numbered certificate is included either way.
Names are reviewed after payment and permission have been confirmed; they are not published automatically.
Prepared with intention in Wales
Before dispatch, Julian will bless the decks under a full moon in Wales, with an intention of reflection, clarity and connection.
How your preorder works
This is a paid preorder for a deck that has not yet been printed. Full payment, including postage, is taken at checkout. The campaign closes at 11:59pm UK time on 6 November 2026. We will only commit to printing once we have reached 100 paid, uncancelled deck preorders.
If the target has not been reached by the campaign deadline, we will cancel the print run and issue a full refund of your preorder payment, including postage. Refunds will be processed by Julian's team; this is not an automatic crowdfunding checkout.
If the campaign reaches its target, we will confirm production and keep you informed. The current estimated production lead time is 6–8 weeks after the funding target is reached, followed by delivery. This estimate is subject to printer confirmation. No fixed Christmas delivery date is promised.
Product images are design previews and styled mockups. Printed colours and final packaging may vary. Props in styled images are not included.
